Isis Eating Issues Counsellor - Part time
Background
Alee has been working as a counsellor and group facilitator for approximately 20 years. Alee draws on training in Gestalt and Narrative therapies, Process Oriented Psychology, Mindfulness and Yoga teaching. Alee also works with a range of creative modalities to aid self expression and awareness, including art, voice and movement as well as symbol work and sand play. Alee has extensive experience in working with people who experience complex health issues such as a mix of eating issues and other issues such as self harm, drug and alcohol dependency, poor self-image, low self esteem, sexuality and relationship issues. Alee has a Masters in Gestalt Therapy.
Interests
Alee has a commitment to a feminist understanding of eating issues, women centred practice and processes and community and cultural development. Alee values the arts as a natural way of supporting self expression and spiritual fulfilment. Alee has a particular interest in the relationship between eating issues, intimacy and creative expression and how women experience their appreciation and enjoyment of life. Alee enjoys hanging out with family and friends, travel, surfing, dancing, art and music.

Isa has a background in Shiatsu and Yoga teaching, which informs her holistic approach to health and wellbeing. Her other interests include dance, music, gardening and sustainable liveing.
